Choose your way to get involved

Visit a club, volunteer alongside members, or explore a youth program. You do not need to have a project idea or a particular profession to start a conversation.

What a district does

A district supports its clubs with leadership development, shared resources, youth programs, Foundation education, and opportunities to collaborate. Clubs lead their own meetings and local service.

Find a starting point that fits your life

Meet people and explore membership

Visit a club to learn about its projects, meeting style and community. Tell your host what interests you and ask how members participate. A first conversation can help you decide whether the club fits your schedule and goals.

Try a service activity

If you want to begin with a practical task, ask a local club which activities welcome guests. You might help with a community project or contribute a skill such as planning, photography or translation. The organizer can explain the time, preparation and responsibilities involved.

Bring an idea or a partnership

Schools, community organizations and businesses can start a conversation about a local need. Explain what you hope to achieve and what you can contribute. A useful partnership starts with listening and a shared plan.

What matters when choosing a club?

Look for people you enjoy meeting, causes you want to support and a pattern of participation you can sustain. Ask about regular costs, meeting times and how new members find a role. Clubs differ, so it is reasonable to explore more than one before deciding.
